Raffle!

Mustard, Coffee Lane

Prominent Sonoma County artist Jack Stuppin is known for his en pleine air paintings, celebrating the landscape in his distinctive, lively style. Jack and his wife Diane are dog lovers and also happen to be Sharon's neighbors on Coffee Lane. Their dogs stay with her when they travel, and they have seen how much --above and beyond her own kennel business-- Sharon gives to the community and to the dog rescue effort.

Jack and Diane have donated a beautiful artist-signed and numbered limited edition print to be raffled as a fund raiser for Sharon's dog rescue expenses.  The image is of a hillside on Coffee Lane, covered in wild mustard before a vineyard was planted there. It was a familiar sight driving down the road to Bundocks over the years. Print details: 8-color Pigmented Ink Print in an edition limited to 100, image size 24"x30" on 28"x34" paper.

The print is now displayed in the kennel office for visitors to see, and those who want a chance to have it on their own wall can buy tickets there or with a check to Bundocks by mail sent to Sharon Curry, 2405 Coffee Lane, Sebastopol, CA 95472. The suggested donation is $10 per ticket, or 6 for $50. If you would like to have your ticket stubs, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Sharon will fill out your raffle tickets for you with name and phone number. Even if you don't win, it's a great way to support Sharon and her efforts. The winning ticket will be drawn December 31st.

Thank you, Jack and Diane for noticing and supporting a good cause in your own neighborhood by offering this wonderful prize. If you'd like to know more about Jack's paintings, take a look at jackstuppin.com.

I can't let this post end without a huge thank-you to Sharon. When the Cairn Terrier Club of Northern California needed a foster home for a very young part-Cairn and her eight (eight!!!) tiny puppies, Sharon took them all in. Amber and her puppies have all found good homes, and thanks to Sharon and CTCNC rescue, they got a healthy and well-socialized good start in life.
